Accent Laser
The Accent, created by Alma Lasers, is an FDA approved treatment device for the reduction of cellulite. It works by using two types of radio frequency (Bipolar) to heat below the surface of the skin in order to to assist in improving circulation, breaking down fibrous tissue and promoting drainage of toxins and re absorption of fluids. This mechanism of action stimulates a response deep in the skin to reduce the appearance of the ‘orange peel’ like skin known as cellulite. In addition, the laser has a simultaneous cooling system for added patient comfort and skin protection. 3-5 treatments are needed at 2 week intervals to achieve the desired result. Each treatment session can last up to 45 minutes. The laser claims visibly tighter skin after each session and actual weight loss. The Accent laser can be used on almost any body part for skin tightening and body and facial contouring. This non ablative (no damage to the skin surface) treatment can be used on all skin types and ages with no downtime.
