Produced by Lumenis, a leader in aesthetic lasers, Active FX is a fractional laser treatment for facial rejuvenation and anti-aging. The laser works by emitting a beam of light to interact with the skin surface, causing the top layer of skin to peel away. Once peeled away, new healthy skin can then regenerate. ActiveFX works as a fractional CO2 source. Fractional laser treatments work by removing small portions of skin and leaving a dot like pattern on the surface of untouched skin. By treating only a portion of the skin, healthy tissue is left to help regenerate the damaged skin, thereby supporting a faster healing process.
