Cellulite Reduction

Cellulite is a skin condition that results when inflated fat cells become trapped in a brittle network of collagen located below the dermis of the skin.  It is mainly found on the hips thighs and buttocks. The skin has the look of a lumpy dimpled appearance, resembling cottage cheese. It has been estimated that over 80% of women over the age of 21 are affected by cellulite, regardless of size or weight.   The root cause for cellulite is not definite.  Some believe it is a combination of genetics, hormones, vascular changes and inflammation that cause the fat cells to swell and produce the look of orange peel dimply skin.

While there is no definitive cure for cellulite, there are several products and treatments available that can reduce its appearance. The quest for cellulite reduction is a multimillion dollar a year industry.  From creams to diets to laser treatments, not one product or procedure has yet proven to eliminate this skin condition completely.

Mesotherapy is a series of micro injections of medications, plant extracts and vitamins introduced into target fat areas with a small needle. The solutions are reported to assist in dissolving the fat, causing a smoother skin appearance.
