Ear Surgery

Ear surgery or Otoplasty is the surgical procedure to set prominent ears closer to the head or to reduce or reshape overly large ears for cosmetic reasons. A vertical piece of cartilage is removed, within the natural ear fold, leaving a hidden scar. If the ear is abnormally formed, extra surgical work is involved to reconstruct the ear and more than one surgery is likely to be needed.
