ProFractional
Profractional laser made by Sciton, Inc., is a minimally ablative fractional laser treatment. Fractional lasers work by treating a ‘fraction’ of the skin. The laser targets a pattern of skin leaving micro channels reaching a depth in the skin that will soften and correct acne scars, wrinkles and skin texture. The laser works by removing the damaged tissue, eliminating excess heat within the remaining tissue. The result is virtually pain free treatment, often where no topical anesthetic is needed. The laser can treat up to 60% of the skin surface, leaving the normal skin to assist the treated skin with faster healing. Patients claim quick healing, more comfort during treatment and rapid results.
